Delivery & Shipping
Delivery & Shipping Policy
When we dispatch, how shipping is priced, and what to expect for UK and international orders.
Dispatch
Orders are picked, packed, and dispatched from the UK. We aim to dispatch in-stock orders within 1–2 working days of payment clearing (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). During busier periods, or for items assembled to order, dispatch may take a little longer — if there is any delay we will let you know by email.
You will receive an email when your order is on its way. Where a tracked service is used, the email includes the carrier and tracking reference.
Shipping Costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and the destination country. The exact cost is shown before you pay — there are no hidden charges added afterwards. The shipping price shown includes a small packing fee to cover materials and handling.
We ship via Royal Mail. At checkout you can choose from the available services for your order size and destination — for example Tracked, Standard (untracked), or Tracked & Signed. Orders above a certain value are automatically restricted to tracked services only for your protection.
Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on the service chosen and the destination, and begin once your order has been dispatched:
- UK 1st / 2nd Class: typically 1–4 working days after dispatch.
- UK Tracked 24 / 48: typically 1–2 working days after dispatch.
- Europe (Tracked): typically 5–10 working days after dispatch.
- Europe (Standard, untracked): typically 7–14 working days after dispatch.
- Rest of world: typically 7–14 working days after dispatch.
These are estimates provided by Royal Mail, not guarantees. Weather, carrier backlogs, and public holidays can extend them. Where you have chosen a tracked service, your dispatch email includes a tracking reference so you can monitor progress. If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time, contact us at [email protected] and we will help.
International Orders, Customs & Import VAT
We use Royal Mail's Delivered Duty Paid (DDP / PDDP) service for international shipments, which means import VAT and applicable duties are collected from you at checkout — not on delivery. Your parcel will clear customs without being held or requiring any additional payment from you.
- EU countries: EU import VAT is calculated at your country's applicable rate and added to your order total at checkout. A small Royal Mail PDDP handling fee also applies.
- Switzerland & Norway: A Royal Mail PDDP handling fee is applied at checkout to cover customs processing.
- USA: Where applicable, US import duty is calculated and collected at checkout.
- Other countries: Customs charges, if any, are generally not collected at our checkout and remain your responsibility on delivery.
Please note: Royal Mail's PDDP handling fee is a per-parcel charge for the customs clearance service. In the event of a return, this fee is non-refundable as the customs service will already have been performed.
We are unable to mark parcels as gifts or under-declare their value — doing so is against carrier and customs rules and is illegal.
Where We Ship
We ship to most countries, but some destinations are restricted for legal, carrier, or practical reasons. If we are unable to ship to your country, you will see this at checkout. If you are unsure, [email protected] and ask before ordering.
Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
Please check your delivery address carefully at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incorrect or it went uncollected, we will contact you to arrange redelivery; a further postage charge may apply.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives damaged, or does not arrive at all, contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible and we will put it right. Your statutory rights are not affected. For details on cancelling and returning goods, see our Returns & Cancellations policy.
